WELCOME TO ELEMENTARY FAITH FORMATION
Our Elementary Faith Formation Program is for Grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Classes are taught by volunteer catechists and take place on Wednesday evenings from 4:00pm - 5:15pm from about October til May. The current curriculum used is Finding God by Loyola Press. The elementary grade level’s objective is to enrich the children’s spiritual lives through Christian faith formation and sharing. All areas of learning are used; i.e., visual with films, videos, active participation in liturgies, hands-on experience with activities to enhance each lesson, and listening and participating in discussion of the lessons being taught. Family activities are sent home with the students, as parents are the primary educators of their children in the faith. Also, twice a year, families gather together for "Households of Faith" during which all participate in an interactive prayer service and share a meal together compliments of the parish. Another hightlight of involving the whole family in our Faith Formation program is "Grandparents Sunday" where we encourage our students to come to Mass with their grandparents to honor them and share in the faith with them. Parents prayer for their children
Loving God,
Smile with kindness upon the hearts of our children,
Let them feel your closeness,
let them be surrounded by your protective care,
Let them hear your voice speaking truth and wisdom deep in their hearts,
Wrap your arms around them and carry them on your shoulders on the right paths you set before them,
Give them grace in abundance to face whatever may come their way.
God who only desires goodness tuck our children in the pockets of your heart when they are afraid or think they can make it on their own,
I commend my children to you!

Elementary Faith Formation Bus Forms
The Elementary Faith Formation program has a bus service that will pick up students from Lakeside and Primary schools after their school day is complete and take them to St. Bridget's for the 4:00pm Faith Formation session on Wednesday. If you would like to participate in this service, please complete the following forms and submit them to the parish office.
