Annual Block PartyThe Annual St. Bridget of Sweden Block Party is a community-building event that takes place the Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend each year. With free admission, our parishioners and wider community members can enjoy live music, kids' games, a turkey dinner, beer tent, concessions, marketplace, and a silent auction. The St. Bridget of Sweden Block Party is a Chisago Lakes favorite!
This is a big fundraiser for the church that helps us meet our short and long-term goals of supporting our community. We appreciate your support!

Silent Auction
The Silent Auction takes place online and in person at the Block Party. There's opportunity to see the Silent Auction items and start bidding online a week before and continue to update your bid online until the bidding closes that Sunday afternoon. The Silent Auction is a great way to score a new item, discounted service, or local good all the while supporting St. Bridget's!
Each year we are in need of donations for the Silent Auction. If you are a local business wanting to advertise your goods or services, or a community member wanting to make a donation, here are some items that are acceptable for the Silent Auction:
Item Ideas to Donate to the Silent Auction:
Gift Cards, Certificates, Services, or Products from a Business
Themed Itemed Gift Baskets (i.e. Christmas decor basket, spa day basket, camping gear basket, etc.)
Entertainment or Sporting Event Tickets
Hosting a Meal for a Group
A Vacation at a Resort or Timeshare
Art Pieces (no large art pieces)
Brand New Merchandise (i.e. Jewelry, Kitchenware, etc.)
These Items CANNOT Be Accepted for the Silent Auction:
Sets of Used Dishes
Collectible Dolls
Old Knick-Knacks (Unless they are unique, interesting, or holiday themed)
Used Appliances
Videotapes
Very Large Art PiecesTo bid on items, please visit the website:If you do not already hold an account with 32 Auctions, you will need to create an account. Log in and then browse the silent auction items. Place bids by clicking on the item you wish to bid on, and you can flag items to watch the bidding updates. If you bid on an item, the website will send you an email letting you know if someone outbids you.
At the Block Party, the Silent Auction items will be on display, but all bidding will take place online.

RaffleThe 15th Annual Block Party Raffle Tickets are now available for purchase!
The Raffle is another way to have fun at the Block Party! You may purchase a Raffle Ticket (or more!) for $5.00 to enter for a chance to win one of 13 cash prizes!
St. Bridget of Sweden parishioners who wish to sell Raffle Tickets, may pick up a bundle at weekend Masses or in the parish office during the week.
Raffle Tickets will be on sale starting August 5th in the parish office and at the Block Party from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Try your luck at winning a prize and participate in the Raffle!

Kids' Games
Donations for the Kids' Games:
Two-Litter Bottles of Pop (any flavor) for the Ring Toss Game
Boxes of Little Debbie (or similar) Snack Cakes/Treats for the Cake Walk GameThe Kids' Games will take place during the Block Party from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Kids can enjoy games such as the ring toss, cake walk, pick-a-duck, inflatables, and more! It is only $6 for an "unlimited games" wristband. Come join us to have some fun!

Food & Drink
There will be plenty of food and drink at the Block Party! Come enjoy the Turkey Dinner, Brats, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Pop, Beer Tent, Pumpkin Bars, and much more!
The Turkey Dinner begins at 6:00 PM and ends at 7:30 PM. The dinner is $15 ($8 for kids 6 & under) and includes Turkey, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Corn, Cranberry Sauce, Dinner Roll, Pumpkin Bar and a beverage (coffee, water or lemonade).
Concessions are available from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM with options of Brats, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, etc. (ranging from $3-$8)
The Beer Tent has a variety of beers, wines, and hard seltzer ranging from $6-$9. (Must be 21+ to consume)
Note: The Turkey Dinner, Concessions, and Beer Tent only accept tickets that are sold at the ticket booth for $1 a ticket.

Music
Come out and enjoy free, great music at the Block Party! This year the band, Boogie Wonderland, will be performing from
6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. We hope you will "get down tonight" and dance to Boogie Wonderland's awesome music!
