We need your help! Many children in Chisago County starting school this year need your help for school supplies. The salvation Army donates 250 brand new backpacks. We need YOU to help fill those bags with school supplies. Supply lists are located in the narthex, please drop your items off in the narthex coat closet or at the parish office. Also if you know a family that needs help with a school bag, they can sign up at the Family Pathways Food Pantry in Lindstrom. Make sure they speak with the Coordinator-Robin Loken (257-1308), to insure that they are signed up. They will be asked to pick their bags up when they are ready. We know that with your help, God will fill those school bags with all of their needs. Thank you for your help with this community school drive!
Gladys and Lenny Resler have volunteered to chair our Feast Day of St. Bridget of Sweden celebration on Sunday, July 27th. Please call them at
257-0692 if you can volunteer to help with serving a picnic meal that day.

St. Bridget’s Relay for Life Team: Have you or your family been touched by cancer? St. Bridget’s is putting together a team to take part in the annual Chisago County Relay for Life, on July 25th at the Almelund Threshing grounds and is meant to bring together those who have been touched by cancer. At the Relay, we gather to celebrate survivors, remember those lost to cancer and to fight back against the disease. Members of our team help raise money and awareness to support the ongoing lifesaving mission to eliminate cancer as a major health issue. Call our team captain, Connie McKay, 257-5916 or team member, Carolyn Wishy at 257-3085 for information on the relay and to receive your informational packet.
Luminaries are for sale in the parish office for a $10.00 donation.
LIBRARY IS NOW OPEN !!!
You can check out books simply by filling out the card found on the inside cover of the book and leaving it in the box. If you wish to donate books to the library, please place on the bottom shelf with the returned books.

WANTED: More parishioners using Cash Value Cards! We have them available at the parish office, after masses in the narthex, or you can pick one up at Carlson’s BP in Lindstrom. Make sure St. Bridget of Sweden is your chosen beneficiary for your card. To do this, visit www.cashvaluecard.com . When you use your card at participating businesses in the area (or in other towns), you get a percentage back on your card AND St. Bridget of Sweden gets the same amount! It is a very easy way to give back to your parish and earn cash for yourself as well.
